About

I am Taylor Krueger. I am a student at Central Michigan University, studying Broadcasing and Cinematic Arts, with a focus on Journalism. I have grown up my entire life in Michigan, the birthplace of the auto industry,  surrounded by a family of mechanics and car enthusiasts. I grew up loving cars as a child, and learned over the years as much as I could from family and reading magazines such as Car and Driver and TV programs like MotorWeek. As I was close to graduating high school, I made a decision to pursue a career that would make the auto industry part of my life.

I went to Central in 2015 with the hope of becoming an automotive engineer. Overtime, I discovered that I had more of an interest in studying cars than designing them (and I discovered a lack of talent for calculus), and switched to Broadcasting Journalism, to become an automotive journalist. In doing so, I have created The Working Title Blog, both as an in-class exercise for JRN 340TR, my digital journalism course, and as an experiment, to test my hand at writing blogs and columns in the style of a journalist.
